T.Subbarami Reddy foundation instituted National Yash Chopra Memorial Award which carries Rs.10.00 lakhs cash and citation. T.Subbarami Reddy has informed that he has been close associate of Yash Chopra and both made famous films like VIJAY, CHANDINI, LAMHE.

T.Subbarami Reddy said that Yash Chopra has been the biggest film maker of the country by continuously giving musical, classical and romantic films for six decades. His films like Deewar, Kabhi Kabhi have been found as one of the best films in Indian Film History.
 T.Subbarami Reddy held a meeting of Jury Members of this Award consisting of T.Subbarami Reddy as the Chairman and Hema Malini, Anil Kapoor and Simi Garewal as Members. Under his Chairmanship they had long discussions and declared Legendary Singer Bharatharathna Latha Mangeshkar to be given this year Yash Chopra National Memorial Award.

 He has also decided that the Award Celebration will be held on 19th October at Mumbai in a glittering function. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Union Ministers and the entire film industry will participate in the function and will remember the memories of Yash Chopra.
